This week provided data and information on a wider range of policy arras covered by the Home Office. News of 5 year prison sentences for those spiking drinks and 5o local authorities being provided cash for drug rehabilitation centres will be welcome to some.

Details of increasing Asylum Income to 70% of benefits at £40.85 will not be welcome to many others. Nor will proposals to increase it using the Joseph Rowntree modelling.

He strongly believes his background and route through life enables him to understand both the needs of communities affected by immigration and the life of immigrants who have settled in the UK. He passionately believe Britain is not a racist nation, but a fair one where all can live but policies need to address the inequities in society and the impacts of immigration both positive and negative.
